I’m on a mission to extend
your growing season and
increase your garden yield.

Hi, I’m Meg.
I garden just west of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and thrive on living creatively. I grow a diverse bounty of annual vegetables in zone 4a/b, Minnesota, interspersed with flowers and perennial vegetables and fruit: a food gardener’s paradise.
Over the last 3 decades, I’ve taught myself how to garden, one seed, one season at a time. Slowly acquainting myself with vegetables and fruits, the garden has been my closest friend and confidant: always there, always listening, always teaching. It’s a spiritual act, to garden, and one that remains fundamental to my joy, fulfillment, curiosity, and sense of self. I hope you find the same depth of awe and appreciation for growing food as I do.
Gardening marries art and science, inviting us
to continually reflect and assess,
an edible act of mindfulness.
With a formal background in natural resource management, my wheelhouse includes writer, photographer, volunteer, stay at home mother, and my ‘day job’ as full-time resident gardener. I share my passion for growing food, educating, and inspiring through my photography and writing here at Seed to Fork, in my book, Plant Grow Harvest Repeat, through occasional videos on You Tube, radio and podcast interviews, and through speaking engagements both locally and nationally.
For me, the greatest gift is received among my garden beds, for gardening bountifully showers the attentive observer with life lessons–and the lessons are both profound and innumerable.
