Let’s make a plan for you to grow more this year.
You’ve gone from plunking a single tomato plant in the ground to growing an entire summer garden, always interested in growing more. My mission is to enthusiastically support you becoming a great gardener. Let me show you how.
Step 1: Extend your season
I encourage you to play with low tunnels and cold hardy brassicas, the fastest way to incorporate succession planting into your garden. When implemented together, these two early and late season companions easily extend your growing season one month on either end of the season. For me, that means a 7-month growing season rather than 5! What’s not to love about that? Here are my favorite posts to get you going:

Step 2: Grow Something New
Get inspired to expand your garden by trying a new crop. Follow these grow guides to learn how.
Step 3: Dig into succession planting
Succession planting, the act of renewing your garden throughout the growing season, is a practice of mindfulness, of learning alongside crops to reveal their seasons’ limits and keeping seeds ready to plant more. It’s about finding space by pulling things out instead of leaving them, making gaps in your garden when there’s time for more food to flourish. Here are some posts to get you started on your succession planting journey:

Get curious
I update my blog 3-5 times a week with what’s happening in my garden process. I’ll post growing guides there, recipes, and other how to’s. Just following the blog in real time is a great place to start.
You can also search for something specific you want to learn about, like celery, by typing it into the search bar, or checking out my growing guides.
Get some one on one time
I love talking to people about their gardens. If you’d like some specific advice or have specific questions, I’d recommend subscribing to Seed to Fork, you’ll get access to more posts, guides and recipes as well as our garden community forum, where you can ask me questions. Or, book a one on one with me, and for 30 minutes, we’ll talk face to face online about your garden journey.
